- Paradise Valley: a small car is enough in the dry season, driving carefully on the last kilometres.
- Taroudant (85 km): ramparts and souks, a lovely day out.
- Essaouira (175 km) by the coast road.
- Agadir-Al Massira airport is about 25 km from the centre: ask for the keys to be handed over directly at the terminal.
Which car for the south coast?
A small car or a saloon is enough for the corniche and paved roads. For country tracks and the Anti-Atlas, an SUV is more comfortable. Fill up before leaving town.
