Why book early for summer
Marrakech agency fleets are in high demand from late June to late August. The later you book, the fewer 7-seaters, SUVs and automatics remain, and the higher the prices.
Book as soon as your flights are confirmed, keeping free cancellation: you secure a car with no risk.
Renting for your whole stay costs less per day
- 5% off from 7 days.
- 10% off from 14 days.
- 15% off from 28 days: ideal for a month’s holiday.
- Each agency may offer its own discounts, shown on its offers.
Delivery, payment and deposit
The agent hands over the car at Marrakech-Menara airport when you land, or delivers it to your family’s or holiday address in Marrakech, with fees shown before you book. You pay the agency in dirhams, in cash or by card. Some agencies also accept a cash deposit.
Driving in Moroccan summer
- Check the air conditioning at pick-up and always keep water on board.
- Avoid long drives in the hottest hours, between 1 pm and 4 pm.
- Roads to Agadir, Essaouira and the north are very busy on August weekends: leave early.
- Your foreign or Moroccan licence is accepted if held for at least two years.
