Itinerary hour by hour

  1. 8 h 30

    Leaving Marrakech

Take the Ourika road south. Avoid setting off after 10 am at weekends: the road is very busy.

  2. 9 h 30

    Villages and cooperatives

Stop at a saffron and argan oil cooperative, then at the Tnine Ourika market if it is a Monday.

  3. 10 h 30

    Setti Fatma

Park at the end of the road. The paths to the waterfalls are marked; closed shoes are more comfortable.

  4. 13 h 00

    Lunch by the water

Many restaurants set their tables on the rocks, with your feet in the river.

  5. 16 h 00

    Return

Return by the same road: allow 1 h 15 outside traffic.

Our tips

  • Check the weather: after heavy rain, floods can make the paths dangerous.
  • Avoid the afternoon in July and August, when it is very hot.
  • Bring change for the Setti Fatma car park.
