Your flight lands in Marrakech: the car is waiting
Marrakech-Menara airport (RAK) receives many direct flights from Europe. Give your flight number when you book: the agent tracks your arrival and waits in the hall with a sign in your name. You collect the keys, complete the check-in and drive off.

Delayed flight, late arrival: what to do?
If your flight is late, tell the agency on WhatsApp. For a night arrival, say so when you book: pick-up depends on the agency’s opening hours, and we check with them that an agent will be waiting.
The landing checklist
- Passport or ID and a valid driving licence.
- Bank card or cash for the deposit, depending on what the agency accepts.
- Your flight number and arrival time.
- The address of your first accommodation (riad, hotel).
- The agency’s WhatsApp number, for the key hand-over.
From the airport to your first accommodation
The airport is about 6 km from the centre: allow 15 to 25 minutes depending on traffic. If your riad is in the medina, the car drops you at the nearest accessible gate and your host sends a porter for the luggage. See renting a car when you stay in a riad.
The return: giving back the car before your flight
Refuel near the airport, let the agent complete the check with you and keep the receipt for the last fill-up. For an international flight, aim to be at the airport about three hours before departure, car return included.
