A car is almost essential
Between Marrakech and the Ourika Valley, accommodation stretches over more than 30 km. Without a car, every outing means booking a taxi. With a car at your door, you can leave for the mountains after breakfast and come back to town for dinner whenever you like.
Delivery and return
The agency delivers to your villa or guesthouse for around 200 MAD, shown before you book. You can also collect the car at the airport on arrival and drive straight to the Ourika road: about 40 minutes.
Driving on the Ourika road
- The road is paved all the way to Setti Fatma: a small car is enough.
- Watch out for villages, pedestrians and animals on the road.
- After heavy rain, check conditions: the river can flood in winter and spring.
- At weekends the road is busy: leave early.
