Spring, summer, autumn or winter: the best time to rent in Marrakech, depending on the weather, the roads and your budget.
Marrakech can be visited all year round, but the climate, the prices and the state of the roads change a lot from one season to the next.

Spring (March – May): the ideal season
Mild temperatures, the Atlas still snow-capped in the distance, the Ouzoud waterfalls in full flow. This is the most pleasant period, but also one of the most expensive, especially during the spring holidays.
Summer (June – August): heat and Moroccans coming home
Days often go above 38 °C. Choose a car with effective air conditioning and set off early in the morning for your excursions. Prices rise in mid-July when Moroccans living abroad return home.
Autumn (September – November): light and comfort
September and October offer beautiful, less hot days. The Ourika Valley takes on autumn colours. October and November are high season.
Winter (December – February): mild days, cold nights

The right time to book
- For the holidays (spring, end of year): 4 to 8 weeks in advance.
- Outside the holidays: 1 to 2 weeks is enough, except for automatics and 7-seaters.
